Green chemistry, photochemistry, and prebiotic chemistry – three ostensibly disparate subfields of organic chemistry.

There is an underappreciated symbiotic relationship between these three disciplines, as their goals, although differently motivated, frequently coincide. Research projects in the Fialho group sit at the intersections of these three fields to address problems of practical and theoretical significance.
